Entry fees: Please note that several sites in Sri Lanka an entry ticket is required. These are extra and at your expense and have to be paid on the site. For foreigners they are usually substantially higher than for Sri Lankan nationals (example: Anuradhapura 25 USD, Polonnaruwa 25 USD). The guide is free of charge. Some sites, however, require an external guide that you will have to pay.
